KARACHI: Security plans have been formulated for the month of Muharram as pillion riding has been banned for the metropolitan city from midnight of October 20 while suggestions have been given to ban mobile services as well. Security plans for Rangers, Police, Bomb Disposal and other Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) have been formulated for 8, 9 and 10th Muharram. KARACHI: At least 300 security cameras have been installed on passages through which mourning processions will pass in connection with Muharram. At least three command and control rooms have been established to monitor the happenings all the time. Three Killed in Overnight Karachi Violence

At least three people were overnight killed in different firing and violence incidents in metropolis areas. Moments after the midnight, a man was injured in a firing incident near Disco Bakery in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. He succumbed to injuries while he was being rushed to hospital.
