Oil Terminal Inaugurated in Zulfikarabad

The residents around Shireen Jinnah Colony will be relieved to know that work has official begun on the oil terminal in Zulfikarabad. Once it is built, the oil tankers parked in Clifton will hopefully move there. On Saturday, Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan and Federal Petroleum Minister Dr Asim Hussain laid the foundation stone of the terminal along the National Highway. The Supreme Court issued orders that the project needs to be completed. Six killed in Karachi violence

At least six people, including two political workers, were killed in separate incidents of firing and violence during the last six hours in Karachi on Sunday. According to reports, unknown gunmen shot dead two men at Gulshan Zahoor Secotr in Lines Area. The victims were identified as Rashid and Muhammad Yahya. An 18-year-old youth was gunned down near Sobhraj Hospital in Urdu Bazaar. Assailants riding a car opened fire on people sitting inside a park, killing one and injuring three others. The victim was identified as 30-year-old Arsalan while injured were said to be Asif, Junaid, Abdul Samad and Asim. The dead and the wounded were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
