The body of an unidentified young man was found in the Manghopir area on Tuesday evening, police said.
The victim had been shot three times, they said, adding that three spent bullet casings of a 9mm pistol and one casing of a.30-bore pistol were found at the crime scene.
Manghopir SHO Aslam Joya said some witnesses told the police that they saw occupants of a white car throwing the victim and shooting him before speeding away.
The victim could not be identified. However, a paper slip inscribed with Karam Marri, Goth Bella, was found in his possession.
The police said that they had contacted the Sakaran and Bella police for the identification of the victim.
Labourer killed in Lyari
A labourer was shot dead at a roadside eatery in Lyari, police said.
They said that as a result of gun attack on Mubarak Hotel near Lea Market in Khajoor Gali the labourer, identified as Bacha Khan, 32, suffered over a dozen bullet wounds and died on the spot.
The body was shifted to the CHK for medico-legal formalities.
The victim was a labourer and lived along with his brother near Old Haji Camp. They originally hailed from Bajaur.
Man shot dead in Baldia
A man was killed in Baldia Town on Tuesday evening, police said.
They said that gunmen riding a motorbike fired shots at Mohammad Majid, 26, who was also on a bike, near Ittehad Town and rode away.
The wounded was rushed to the CHK where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The victim suffered two bullet wounds. He was a vegetable seller, the police said.
The police said that initial information suggested that the victim was not affiliated with any political party.
However, they said, he always carried a pistol.
