The Sindh Home Department on Monday declared MA Jinnah Road of Karachi as a high security zone and banned all religious, political and welfare organizations from setting up camps.  Every possible step is being made in Karachi to maintain law and order during the holy month of Muharram. 100 CCTV Camera for Muharram Procession

In another attempt at curbing terrorism, 100 more CCTV cameras are going to be installed in more than 25 locations from Teen Hatti Chowk to Kharadar for monitoring Muharram processions, reported on Friday. The processions set to take place on 8, 9 and 10 of Muharram will be monitored with the new cameras. Sources said that the home department of Sindh issued these directives to police and funds worth Rs50 million were issued for purchase and installation of these cameras.
