The flame that broke out instantaneously at a manufacturer situated in SITE area of the town, could not be put out as yet sources revealed Friday. A major fire broke out in a local garment factory in the SITE police limits on Sunday causing loss of millions of rupees. According to the Central Fire Station, the fire broke out at about 11:15pm and had spread to other parts of the factory within minutes, reducing goods worth millions of rupees to ashes. A Child Burnt to Death in Huts fire in Slum Area of the City

A child burnt to death and two people were injured when huts in a slum area of the city caught fire on Monday. Over 50 huts were gutted in blazed erupted Monday night in the slum area near a textile factory in Karachi’s Federal B Area. According to fire brigade officials, the fire was caused by a cigarette.
