The lights at Mazar-e-Quaid were switched off at 8:30 pm sharp on Saturday but not because of a power outage, instead it was in commemoration of ‘Earth Hour 2012’. Being celebrated in the country for third time in a row, the worldwide event was organised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Sindh government. Russian extreme sport star Valery Rozov accomplish an incredible stunt. The 44-year-old Red Bull athlete jumped from MCB Tower -the tallest building in Pakistan with a height of 116 meters, with 29 levels and 3 basements. Challenging wind conditions delayed the jump for a couple of hours, before Valery decided to go-ahead with it. He deployed the parachute 3 seconds after the jump.
