Police recovered a woman, who was kidnapped three days ago, and arrested a kidnapper in injured condition on Friday. The woman is a bank officer’s wife. Mrs Suhail was kidnapped from Defence phase 7 area of the city. The kidnapper demanded Rs1 million as ransom amount. Police encounter occurred with the kidnappers at Clifton area in which one kidnapper was arrested. Police also recovered a vehicle from the kidnapper’s custody.

The tortured dead body of a six-year-old girl was found dumped at Gulshan-e-Iqbal in Karachi on Saturday, after 12 days of kidnapping. The girl, identified as Fatima, was abducted from Mobina Town. She was first sexually assaulted and then tortured to death. Another girl, Iram, who was also kidnapped from the same locality, is yet to be found. Fatima was abducted from outside her home on May 6.
